TMSR is very disappointed in the 112th and 113th Congress, to date, on the issue of military and veterans suicide. The men and women holding such office should not be judged by talk, and theatre in committee or in the press. No, they should be judged by RESULTS and ACTION. The tremendous loss of life resulting from suicide or other “accidental causes” can only be judged as SHAMEFUL. Leadership in the Senate and House has proven ineffective. TMSR hopes Mr. Carson’s efforts will be embraced and supported with vigor and sincerity. Proposing legislation is but a small step forward. There is much work to be done.
