Moody Airman Death Investigated

An airman first class assigned to the 23d Logistics Readiness Squadron, 23d Mission Support Group at Moody Air Force Base was pronounced dead to 5:45 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA.
Airman 1st Class Stephen Bost was found by Berrien County Sheriff’s Department in his home in Nashville, GA. with a gunshot wound to the head and was immediately transported to SGMC for medical treatment.
Airman Bost, 22, was a vehicle maintenance journeyman with the 23d LRS.
“The 23d Mission Support Group lost a member of our Air Force family and we are deeply saddened. We all feel sorrow as a result of the death of Airman Bost. He will be missed by his unit and all who had the opportunity to serve with him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends,” said Col. Mark Ruse, 23d Mission Support Group commander.
The cause of Airman Bost’s death is under investigation.
